Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung welcomed participants of the National Leadership Consolidation Education (P3N) XXVI from National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas) at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (9/24).

In his remarks, Pramono outlined Jakarta Government's strategic programs and policies to strengthen human resources.
To address human resources challenges, the city government has launched several educational programs, ranging from Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) and Jakarta Excellence Card (KJMU) to diploma amnesty program.

Additionally, the city plans to launch scholarship programs similar to the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP), but managed by the Jakarta Provincial Government.
"To break the cycle of misfortune in underprivileged families, if their child can pursue master's or doctoral degree, I firmly believe that this child will be the one to break the misfortune cycle in their family," said Pramono.
He also expressed his readiness to collaborate with Lemhanas in human resources development. He emphasized the importance of quality human resources as the key for Jakarta to compete with global cities.

Furthermore, he pointed out the Jakarta Provincial Government's efforts to address social inequality, including income disparity issues or Gini ratio, and employment challenges which remain major concerns.
Therefore, the government offers various training programs in the field, such as providing skills training, job fairs, and others.
"Indeed, employment issues need to be handled carefully," he asserted.
In driving economic transformation, the governor stressed his efforts to change the bureaucratic work culture within the Jakarta Provincial Government by reducing reliance on the City Budget (APBD) and exploring alternative funding sources for Jakarta's development, including utilizing funds from the Building Area Coefficient (KLB).
Pramono asserted that Jakarta must prepare to transform into a global city with competitive human resources. Hence, the Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to continuously improving and reshaping the face of Jakarta.
Meanwhile, Lemhanas Governor TB Ace Hasan Syadzily conveyed that this National Leadership Consolidation Education (P3N) theme is 'Transformation of the National Education System Towards an Excellent Indonesia by Strengthening Human Resources'.
"Ensuring Indonesia's swift advancement demands accelerating the development of superior human resources to operate effectively," he stated.
Through this event, participants were expected to explore programs and policies implemented by the Jakarta Provincial Government to enhance superior human resources in Jakarta. Therefore, they will be able to formulate national strategies to realize the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
"This will certainly be one of the materials for participants to later formulate various policies, especially after they graduate as national leaders," he concluded.
